A "Guided Hunt" with Williams Brook Outfitters means that we
will prepare your site with bait, provide you the stealth cam
pics, transport you to and from your stand or blind and assist
with field dressing and game retrieval. We stay close so that we
may assist you with all of the details. You will be supplied with
a map of the area and a radio to maintain contact with us at
all times. We have sites that are handicap accessible and will
accommodate to suit your needs. Our Guides make every effort
to see you take home your game!

We take safety just as seriously as we do hunting. You must
bring a harness if you intend to hunt from a stand or rent one
from us!  When you arrive, we collect your completed
registration forms and get a photo of your boot print. A file is
made for you containing all of your pertinent info in the case of
emergency or a lost person situation. Please visit

BREAKFAST ~  Served before sunrise with morning hunts. You'll find
an assortment of pastries, bagels, muffins, cereals...etc...Hot coffee,
tea & cocoa as well as cold juices.

LUNCH ~ Homemade Soups, Stews, & Sandwiches. A variety of hot &
cold beverages. Packed bag lunches available for those who wish to
stay out for the day! A nice mid-day boost.

DINNER ~ Meats, Potatoes, Vegetables & Fruits. Pasta's and
Homemade Soups & Stews. Served after sunset.

All meals are served Buffet Style and are prepared "home style" . The
menu will be planned with the likes, dislikes and limitations of the
particular group in mind. Your chef & assistant chef both have a
lifetime of experience preparing game meats as well. We've always
said that "we eat better in the woods than we ever take the time to do
at home!"

Meals NOT Included:
Means that you intend to eat your meals at some of the many great
restaurants located in Houlton. We prefer to keep the cooking and open
fire tending, the sole responsibility of Williams Brook Outfitters.

Q. Where is the nearest airport
A. Bangor, Maine

Q. Do you offer pick-up at the airport?
A. Yes, for an additional fee. Rental vehicles available at the airport.

Q. Are there stores close by for provisions and/or forgotten items?
A. We are 17 miles from a variety of places to shop, such as Walmart,
Mac's Trading Post and grocery stores. Keep in mind that prices will
be higher on many items, so try to use our packing list and consider
your options.

Q. Can I Obtain My License When I Get There?
A. YES. You can visit Mac's Trading Post, Walmart, or you can print it
from your home computer by visiting the Maine's IF&W
Moses System.

Q. How Do I Know That My Bear Site Is Currently Active?
A. When you arrive, we take time to sit down with you and show you
the recent Game Cam Pics of your site. You'll see the different Bear
that have been frequenting your site and the times that they are
around.

Q. How Long Will I Have To Sit In The Treestand, After Legal Shooting
Hour?
A. We employ enough guides to accommodate our hunters and insure
that a qualified guide is close by at all times. Should another hunter
shoot a bear, we're prepared to transport everyone back to base
camp in time for Dinner!

Q. What Will The Weather Be Like During My Hunt?
A. We have a saying here..." If You Don't Like The Weather In Maine,
Just Wait 5 Minutes"! It can be warm and muggy during the day,
downright cold at night, with everything in between. Come prepared,
once the sun goes down, you'll be glad you brought an extra layer for
comfort.

Q. How Bad Are The Bugs?
A. Bring a non-intrusive, odorless form of bug defense.

Q. Do You Offer Meat Cutting & Packing?
A. No. We are affiliated with reputable meat handlers who will process
your game to your specifications. Pricing is available upon request.  

Q. What Are Your Payment Terms?
A. For booking purposes, we require a non-refundable deposit. Your
balance will be due upon arrival.
